与国际高水平学者共建研究生课程—《现代工业过程中的数据驱动新技术》授课通知

英国诺森比亚大学数学、物理和电气工程学院教授高志伟教授将于1114日至1121日来我校,与我校尹珅教授共同讲授“与国际高水平学者共建研究生课程”——《 现代工业过程中的数据驱动新技术》。真诚欢迎老师和同学前来体验世界一流大学的授课方式,并与名师现场交流。

课程简介

本课程为研究生学位课,面向控制科学与工程及相关专业及学科硕士研究生,结合实际工业应用背景,讲授先进的现代工业过程中的数据驱动新技术。通过教学加强研究生对故障诊断理论的理解和吸收,并探讨数据驱动新技术的原理。结合实际工程应用,数据驱动新技术具有重要的理论意义和实际应用价值,不仅可以满足现代大型工业系统对安全性,可靠性等关键性能指标的实际需求,更希望通过本课程的讲解激发广大同学对理论研究和工业实际的兴趣与愿望,进而锻炼独立思考能力和培养创新精神。

高志伟教授简介:

Dr. Gao received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and automation, and the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in systems engineering from Tianjin University, in 1987, 1993, and 1996, respectively. From 1987 to 1990, he was with the Tianjin Electrical Drive and Design Institute as an Assistant Engineer working on industrial projects. From 1996 to 1998, he worked at the Department of Mathematics, Nankai University, as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 1998, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Tianjin University as an Associate Professor. Dr. Gao received the Tianjin Natural Scientific Prize in 2000. In 2004, Dr. Gao was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship. From 2006 to 2009, he worked respectively with the University of Manchester and the University of Leicester as an EPSRC project researcher. From 2009 to 2010, he worked with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, the University of Liverpool as a Lecturer. In September 2011, he joined the Faculty of Engineering and Environment at the University of Northumbria as a Senior Lecturer, and he was promoted to Reader in August 2015.


Dr. Gao is the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics. As a leading Guest Editor, he organised two special sessions ``Data-driven approaches for complex industrial systems’’ and ``Real-time fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control’’ respectively in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics.
